Cheval Press Release
New Charlotte Community Touts Equestrian Lifestyle for Affluent Families
Charlotte, NC
February 15, 2007
Cheval, the newest equestrian community located in Mint Hill in Mecklenburg County, NC, is set to grand open early May 2007. With 160 homesites planned, this community offers the 15 large estate homeowners the option of having a house and private barn on their grounds.
At the heart of the community will be the 24-stall equestrian center equipped with all the accoutrements including a 10-stall lesson barn available for riding clinics and training programs. The equestrian look and feel will continue throughout the neighborhood with four-rail fencing framing the roads and greenway riding trails within Cheval to ensure long term beauty and value.
“My goal for Cheval is to develop a community with an emphasis on lifestyle while protecting the natural beauty of the creek, trees and pastures” said Keith Paris, developer.
Cheval is located in Mint Hill minutes away from The Bridges of Mint Hill shopping center, area restaurants, and Uptown Charlotte along with well-known schools such as Mint Hill’s Butler High School, Mint Hill Middle School and Bain Elementary.
With a total of 300 acres being developed, the single-family estate homes will be situated on approximately 5 acres and smaller estate homes will be on 1.25 to 2+ acres. Signature homestyles and custom one-of-a-kind floorplans, architecture reminiscent of European country estates, will be available through the Cheval Master Builder Program.
